Check out the New Look in Gmail

Now, The Verge has just published a series of images that show the details of Google's new email interface. And as promised, the new face of the email service is extremely clean with so many borders around each box and also brings some extras compared to the current model.

As you can see in one of the images, the menu on the left can be minimized, reducing everything to a simple column that helps save screen space (something especially useful for computers with smaller screens). Also on the right side of the window is a new feature: a quick access menu for Google services like Agenda and Keep.

The email composition screen has also changed, although I still remember its current version a lot. In the new look, it is more minimalist and with greater contrast, even though it has lost the lines that highlighted the borders between the writing field and the formatting menu of Gmail.

Unsurprisingly, the menus have also gained a new look, always in line with the rest of the graphical adaptations made by Google to make Gmail simpler, cleaner and more fluid than ever - at least in theory, hands on this beautiful to know if it remains functional as always.

More features
The new  Gmail will also have three new layout options for the user to organize the inbox. The first one, which is standard, highlights the attachments, the second focuses more on the content of the email, and finally the latter packs everything to display as many messages as possible.

The change should begin to be experienced by G Suite users in the coming weeks and will be the first major visual renewal since Google introduced Inbox in 2014.

So what do you think about the new look in Gmail?
