iOS 13 brings improved design emoji to iPhone

Operating system upgrades improve performance, fix crashes, and prevent bugs, but for many people the issue is whether there are new emoji in the square. The iOS 13.1 update , while not bringing new stickers, improved the design of existing 24, giving them more anatomical and historical accuracy.

The design of the objects also received more attention. The abacus, for example, has had its accounts reoriented: they are vertically (the correct drawing historically), and no longer horizontal.

The smile face's eyes were ordinary hearts; with the change, they were replaced by the heart emoji that already exists.

Other minor adjustments were made, such as changing the color of the puzzle piece (from blue to green), adding a trident to the mermaid's figure, and adjusting the color of the kitty, among others.

New stickers until the end of the year

By the end of the year, Apple will launch 59 more emojis, including sloth, flamingo, waffle, falafel, skunk and orangutan. Among the human figures, there will be new faces, gestures and poses, including yawning, people kneeling, standing and holding hands. The changes reach gender and skin tone.

There is no date for the release of the new stickers; in 2018, they arrived with an operating system update in early October. IOS 13.1 is now available for iPhone and OS 13.1 for iPad . The news will arrive soon with macOS 10.15 Catalina.
